Our trusted brands—including ProPlex®, Solaris Lighting™, ProCable™, FloppyFlex™, Firefly Lighting™, and ProPower™—serve production professionals across the entertainment, architectural, film, and television industries. With our newest location in Riga, Latvia, TMB EU anchors our European operations, enhancing logistics, distribution, and customer support throughout the EMEA region.

TMB EU is seeking an engaging and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in Riga. In this role, you will work closely with customers and support our outside sales (Customer Development) team by preparing quotes, processing orders, and building strong client relationships across the AVL (Audio, Video, and Lighting) industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming inquiries—responding promptly and professionally to emails and phone calls from customers and industry partners. Deliver a helpful, solution-oriented experience with every interaction.

  • Sales Support & Order Processing: Prepare accurate and timely sales quotations based on customer specifications. Enter and process orders within TMB’s internal system, ensuring pricing, availability, and delivery details are correctly captured.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Development (Outside Sales) and Sales Management teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment across departments. Assist in tracking sales activity and customer follow-up.

  • Industry Interaction: Build and maintain strong working relationships with AVL professionals, including production rental companies, system integrators, specifiers, and consultants. Understand their needs and identify ways TMB can support their projects.

  • Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise with internal departments—including Operations, Accounting, and Logistics—to ensure accurate fulfillment of orders and follow-up on customer service issues. Advocate for customer needs across the organization to drive satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Possible Event Representation: Join TMB at industry trade shows, product showcases, and partner events. Engage with customers face-to-face, share product knowledge, and gather market feedback to inform future sales efforts.

Key Competencies

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently in English—both in writing and in speech. You’ll be regularly interacting with customers, partners, and colleagues; strong communication is essential. Proficiency in additional languages is a valued asset in our international business environment.

  • Customer-Focused Mindset: A genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service. You should be comfortable developing rapport, identifying customer needs, and offering solutions that enhance the overall customer experience. Relationship-building is central to this role.

  • High Level of Accuracy: Strong attention to detail is crucial for entering sales orders, generating quotes, and managing account information. Accuracy ensures smooth transactions and supports customer satisfaction.

  • Technical Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook (email/calendar), Word (document formatting), and Excel (spreadsheets, basic formulas). Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining responsiveness and follow-through. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where multitasking and time management are key.

  • Industry Knowledge (Preferred): A background or interest in the AVL (Audio, Video, Lighting) industry or event production is advantageous but not mandatory. If you’re curious about entertainment technology and enjoy learning about technical products, this is a great place to grow.

Compensation

Monthly salary: Competitive, €1,500 to €2,000 depending on experience.
